SUTTER HOME WINE NIGHT

So I am planning to have a WINE NIGHT tomorrow night with a few close friends to just start off the year to hang out and catch up. It's nothing big just wanted to gather up and have some wine, and just talk.
So the fallowing is what we are planning to serve, also got the info from online and will try to get ratings to go with it.

I can't wait = )

2008 Retro Muscat of Alexandria

Sutter Home’s Muscat of Alexandria is the perfect ending to any delicious meal. It starts with beautifully perfumed aromas of ripe, juicy peaches and bright honeysuckle. On the palate, the wine is delicately balanced with flavors of melons and stone fruit. This Muscat of Alexandria is so mouth-watering that it can be enjoyed as dessert itself!

2008 Sutter Home White Merlot
It’s a little like sneaking into an orchard on a hot summer day and popping ripe, juicy cherries and sun-plumped berries into your mouth—without getting caught. This delicious wine displays a bright, light red color, and sweet cherry and raspberry aromas. It has soft, round juicy cherry and berry flavors with structure and a full, rich texture.
A portion of the grapes went directly to press without crushing thus minimizing the extraction of color from the skins. Other lots were crushed and pressed. A ten-day cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks fully extracted the Merlo! grape's deep cherry flavors.
FOOD pairing: Serve chilled as an aperitif, or as an excellent accompaniment to picnic and barbecue fare, seafood, poultry, ham, and spicy ethnic cuisines. We enjoy a glass with fiery chicken tacos.

2008 Sutter Home Chenin Blanc
A cascade of tart apples, juicy pears, luscious peaches, and ripe melons. Eat your heart out Carmen Miranda. The wine offers an enticing aroma of fresh pear, apple and melon fruit, with bright, crisp, pear, peach and honeydew melon flavors.
To preserve and enhance its fresh, fruity character, the wine is cold-fermented, aged entirely in stainless steel tanks and finished in a semi-dry style.
FOOD pairing: Chenin Blanc is a perfect picnic wine. It's an ideal choice for salads, fruit and cheese platters, chicken dishes. Think good ol’ fashioned picnic foods like macaroni and potato salads and the gathering will be a hit.

2008 Sutter Home Moscato
Something about the sweet, creamy, peach flavor makes you feel like maybe it shouldn't pair with dessert so much as replace it. This is an extravagantly perfumed wine, with beautiful scents of creamy white peaches, rose petals, and lichee fruit. This luscious peach and honeydew melon flavors are sweet and creamy, well-balanced with good acidity and a long, lingering finish.
FOOD pairing: This superb, light-bodied dessert wine is one of America's great wine values. Enjoy it as an aperitif or dessert wine pair with fresh fruit, light cheeses, fruit tarts or sorbets (especially strawberry, peach, pear, or apple) and other light desserts. But don’t limit your food choices to desserts. Spicy dishes like Thai or Cajun entrees are well-suited with Moscato as well. Try it with some peppered fried chicken then move onto dessert.

2008 Sutter Home Merlot
Gaze at the deep red color, sip the deep cherry flavor, and think deep thoughts. Like how you wish you had a deeper glass. Our Merlot exhibits a fresh black cherry aroma, with hints of tobacco and herbal spice. Medium-bodied, with smooth texture and moderate tannins, it boasts attractive, smokey black cherry and spice flavors, excellent structure, and a long, rich finish.
FOOD pairing: This fine-value Merlot makes an excellent accompaniment to a wide range of foods, especially chicken, beef, lamb, game, and tomato-based pastas. We enjoy a glass of Merlot often by itself, but definitely when we feel like popping a pizza in the oven. A pie with warm tomato sauce, a fresh basil topping and a glass of merlot make a meal fit for a king.

2008 Sutter Home Sauvignon Blanc
Sauvignon Blanc is growing in popularity for its crisp flavor profile and easy food-friendliness. Sutter Home's Sauvignon Blanc has been praised by critics for its bright, fresh honeydew melon, grapefruit, and passion fruit aromas balanced by a pleasant grassiness that brings to mind the classic cool-climate examples of the varietal from New Zealand. Its rich, round flavors suggest melon, lime, and grapefruit finished with spice and minerals.
FOOD pairing: An extremely versatile food wine, it pairs beautifully with shellfish, broiled or pan-fried trout, snapper, sole, herb-roasted chicken, mild cheeses, ethnic and vegetarian fare. Still, you can't go wrong with a fresh Caesar salad with crisp romaine lettuce and a chilled glass of Sutter Home Sauvignon Blanc. This combo is easy to prepare and easy to enjoy.

2008 Sutter Home Red
A rich blend of premium California wine, Red offers enticing flavors of delicious fresh berries and complex floral scents. Easy drinking in style, with a luscious mouth feel and natural residual grape sweetness that delivers a velvety smooth finish.
FOOD pairing: Sutter Home Red is perfect for any food occassion. Even enjoyable on its own as an aperitif, the blend of Merlot and Zinfandel lend themselves to grilled meats while the touch of Moscato will also make Sutter Home Red a great accompaniment to baked dishes, pasta and hot and spicy ethnic cuisines. We enjoy a glass with spicy-seasoned shrimp grilled on the BBQ. The spice on the shrimp and the hint of sweetness in the wine play off each other in your mouth to yield tasty results.
